Call Process

OSL is currently in the process of calling a new pastor. The process,
minutes of meetings and other links may be found below. The members
of the Call Committee are Brian Anderson, Marilyn Botkin, Kirk
Claiborn, Elizabeth Jones, Ginger Narum, David Nelson, Tara Ortmann,
Forrest Stokesberry, Linda Williams, and Pam Yates. Please call any of
these members or the office at 733-3774 if you have questions.

Steps in the process

1.(this step is complete) Congregational Mission Profile (CMP)
completed and sent to Synod

2.(this step is complete) CMP summary presented to congregation. A
copy of a summary of this document may be found at Congregational
Mission Profile - A Summary

3. (this step is complete) Congregational nominations for Pastor sent
to Synod

4. (this step is complete) Names of Pastoral candidates presented by
Synod

5. (this step is complete) Interviews of Pastoral candidates. See the
Schedule of Visits.

6. (this step is complete) Call Committee selects Pastoral candidate

7. (October 25th at 11:00 a.m.) Congregational meeting to approve
selection

8. (Pastor Scott has accepted our call) Pastor accepts call

9. New Pastor arrives - January 1, 2010
